K-nife
A traditional style knife with a twisted handle made by Hunter Whitaker
The K-nife was created using a High Carbon railroad spike that was heated and forged until it was thin enough to start working on the creation of the handle. The handle was made by putting the handle of the railroad spike into a vise and using a twisting clamp to get the desired effect. Overall this project took me four hours to accomplish and I enjoyed the overall process of manufacturing my own knife.
